About a year ago I decided I should start running. This was probably after reading a couple blog posts about people talking about C25K (Couch to 5K). I tried, and for the first couple weeks managed to keep with the program. However after that I would get bad shin splints any time I tried to run. The pain would persist for a week or two at a time. I quit.
I tried starting C25K again two weeks ago. Same thing, shin splints.
I decided to come up with other options.
- Walking; or
- Rowing.
